Ordered new via Maranello Concessionaires Ltd by a Mr. Berger in November 1972 (Order No. 605), the 365 GTC4 was optioned in Rosso Nearco with Beige hide and carpets. The car was then registered in January 1973 to Mr. Berger’s London based property company, Massglen Properties Ltd, with the registration UEN 808L that it still retains today.
Mr Berger entrusted the Ferraris maintenance to Maranello Concessionaires for most of its early life before passing it to marque specialist Terry Hoyle. Mr Berger commissioned Terry Hoyle to carry out a full bare metal repaint and interior retrim between 1997 and 1998, totaling nearly £18,000. The car was repainted in its current Rosso Chiaro and interior trimmed with a new beige hide.
In 1999, Mr Berger exported the 365 GTC4 to his home in Southern Spain where it resided for nearly 11 years, being regularly enjoyed and maintained by C De Salamanca Ferrari. The car returned to the U.K. in 2010 where it has remained since and was then purchased by a long standing Furlonger client in 2013, forming part of a prominent collection of historic Ferraris.
