Completed on 5th July 1972, this 911 2.4E Lux was built to UK RHD specification and finished in Gemini Blue metallic coachwork with Blue leatherette sports interior
Original options included impact absorbers, passenger side mirror, alloy wheels 6×15, front and rear stabilisers, chrome trim on wheel housing, comfort equipment, tinted glass, power windows, front head rests, sports seats, rear wiper and power sun roof
First registered on the 16th August 1972, the Porsche had a total of seven owners in the UK until 2007 and spent some time in Tenerife during the previous ownership
In the late 1990`s the 911 benefitted from a full restoration that is documented within then file and has been used sparingly since. The 911 was exported to Singapore for a few years and during its time there was fitted with a modern aircon system and fully repainted to a very high standard. During its time in Singapore the original Sportomatic gearbox was upgraded with a period correct manual unit
The engine was rebuilt by Chris Turner in 2002 using some 911S components and the dyno sheet from 2002 confirms the power output as giving 181 BHP and 172 lb/ft torque. More recently the 911 has new Bilstein dampers fitted along with stainless heat exchangers and silencer box
Over the past twelve months the car has benefitted from a further GBP 10,000 of improvements by marque specialists Parr and is ready for immediate enjoyment, supplied with comprehensive and well documented history
