Model History:

The 675LT, the first modern McLaren to ever wear the LT badge, is a limited edition model restricted to just 500 examples worldwide. The car embodies the ethos of the Le Mans winning 1997 McLaren F1 GTR ‘Longtail’, focusing on five key characteristics synonymous with the LT title: lightweight, optimised aerodynamics, increased power, track-focused dynamics and driver engagement.

Over 50 percent of the parts are unique to the 675L’s 3.8 litre twin turbo V8 engine in comparison to its predecessor, the 650S. Such significant changes ensured increased levels of torque, drivability and powering lead to the engine unit to receive a new, unique code of M838TL. Producing a striking series of figures when it comes to performance – 675hp (666bhp) and 700Nm (516ft-lb), the 675LT reaches 0-62mph in an eye-watering time of just 2.9 seconds. The seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox is twice as fast and advancements incorporate more efficient turbos, detail design changes to the cylinder heads and exhaust manifolds, new camshaft and lightweight connecting rods, and a faster flowing fuel pump delivery system.

McLaren’s carbon fibre MonoCell chassis provides the 675LT with an unrivalled combination of lightness, safety and stiffness – attributes common amongst all models in the McLaren’s Super Series range. That being said, the obsession with McLaren’s weight saving unlocks a further reduction of 60KG when compared with the 650S; from lightweight carbon fibre racing seats to reducing the windscreen thickness by 1mm, it is evident that no opportunity to save weight was overlooked whilst producing this masterpiece.

The condition of this 675LT is truly impeccable; with front end PPF and just 213 miles on the clock the car is factory fresh, with no discernible blemishes to detract from the brilliant white exterior.

Branded MSO carbon sills greet occupants upon opening the door before climbing across the carbon tub and into the cabin; a sure sign that this is no ordinary road car. A stunning combination of embossed Harissa Red leather and carbon black alcantara adorn the lightweight racing seats, spanning to the dashboard, headlining and optional MSO clubsport rear roll bar. The MSO refinements continue, with lashings of Satin Carbon Fibre detailing the steering wheel, centre console, tunnel and even optional vents. The level of attention to detail is just superb, with even the switchgear taken into consideration, finished in tonal shades of Piano black and Harissa red throughout the interior.

Showing delivery mileage on the odometer it’s no surprise the interior presents as new; with the protective plastic still situated on the central screen and buttons, there are virtually no signs this car has ventured from the showroom.

Engine & Transmission:

McLaren have taken its most potent 3.8 litre twin turbo V8 engine and carefully improved upon it; with nearly 50% of the parts completely unique to the 675, it now unleashes an additional 25bhp and 22Nm for a thrilling total of 666bhp and 700Nm, and a class-leading 541bhp per tonne.

To match the impressive headline figures the engine also outlets a uniquely rich and aggressive sound, thanks to its new lightweight titanium exhaust system with distinctive twin exhaust outlets, and the ignition cut in Sport mode.

Wheels, Tyres & Brakes:

The unmarked stealth finish ultra lightweight 10-spoke alloy wheels, which come as part of the optional Clubsport Pack, sit in impeccable condition with no scuffs or marks in sight. The wheels are wrapped in matching Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R’s which provide exceptional performance on the track and road.

The car also benefits from a carbon fibre braking system, with optional red callipers, greatly increasing stopping power and longevity compared with conventional steel brake systems.
