MODERNIST NEW BUILD
This is a totally new building to replace an existing barn within the countryside. The building provides a large double height space to comfortably accommodate four or five cars with a workshop facility and an entertaining area at mezzanine level.
The idea is to create a beautiful white gallery-like space that treats the cars as pieces of art in their own right.
The upstairs entertaining area has a full width terrace that takes advantage of views over the surrounding countryside. Below it is a functional workshop with separate vehicle access from the main space.
Large glazed sliding doors provide maximum visual openness which can also be totally closed off with retractable security roller shutters when the building is not in use.
