STABLE BLOCK CONVERSION

This project involves refurbishing and remodelling an existing stable block within the grounds of a large country house. The converted space comfortably houses eight cars with a revolving turntable for display and improved manoeuvrability.

The buildings are arranged in a U-shape around a central courtyard with an entertaining area in one wing and a workshop at the other end.

The cars are parked between these two areas in front of a monochrome edge-lit wall, to create maximum visual impact.

Various bespoke features such as a car headlight lighting system in the workshop area contribute to the automobile theme.

To increase security, roller shutters can close off the fully glazed facades.
